Quiet Hours

There is a strict curfew from 10 pm to 10 am. This means that making noise and playing music are prohibited. There are residential properties right next to the campsite!

Why not come to the party in the tower instead? It’s a colourful affair :-)

Between 10 am and 10 pm, there’s certainly no objection to a small boombox. However, we ask that you refrain from bringing a full PA system or similar equipment to the campsite and constantly disturbing other participants and the neighbours.

Watch your environment

Everything brought onto the campsite must be taken away again. Please also check the area 10 metres around your tent for any leftovers and collect anything that shouldn’t normally be found in an apple orchard. Rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided.

There are apple trees on the campsite. As we want these trees to remain in excellent health even after our event, they are not intended for use as anchor points or similar purposes. Any installation on apple trees (ropes, cables, sun sails, etc.) must be clarified in advance with the event organisers at kontakt@hack-mas.at. You can, of course, pitch your tent at a slight angle under the tree (tip: when setting up, make sure you know which way is east ;-) ).

What am I not allowed to do?

  • The campsite is intended solely for camping (sleeping, private retreat, etc.). Setting up large event tents (e.g. for assemblies or villages) and driving onto or parking cars and caravans on the campsite is therefore prohibited. Caravans may only be parked in the designated area.
  • Digging up the ground and digging trenches is prohibited.
  • The privacy of other campers must be respected. Opening other people’s tents and caravans without the owners’ consent is prohibited, unless necessary for emergency assistance (immediate defence against a danger to life, health, sexual integrity, freedom or property).
  • Dogs are not permitted. Details regarding assistance dogs can be found under Accessibility.
  • Open fires are not permitted on the campsite. Your morning coffee or your favourite tinned ravioli cooked on a small gas stove are certainly no problem, provided they are used with care.

Safety First

Tents must be properly secured, and tent pegs, ropes and other tent accessories must not pose a hazard to others. Please make all ropes that could become dangerous trip hazards more visible by marking them with coloured tape or similar. You can obtain the necessary accessories from our staff.
