Do you want to pitch a tent, build a dome or bring along a structure that’s bigger than your average blob? Great – we love creative spaces and experiments at the castle!
To ensure everything goes smoothly and complies with official regulations, we need a few details from you in advance.
We must include event tents and similar mobile structures (e.g. a dome) and larger installations in our official event registration! Please register your event tent, dome or super-sized installation at kontakt@hack-mas.at by 15 May 2026!
For event tents and similar mobile structures (in principle, anything with elements that will be above visitors’ heads), we must also demonstrate their stability and suitability to the local council. If you have a certificate, a structural assessment or similar, please send this along straight away. If you do not have any such documentation or are unsure, we will work with you during the registration process to determine how and whether we can accommodate your event tent, so please get in touch regardless.
For larger structures, please describe as concisely and clearly as possible what your structure entails and whether, or how, visitors are expected to interact with it.
Please be sure to send us the dimensions of your event tents, mobile structures and larger installations, as well as any special requirements you may have (lighting? shade? visibility? electricity? etc.).
Please note: In the event of severe weather, we may have to order the evacuation and dismantling of event tents and similar mobile structures!
